OXITEC® 5000
Durable oxygen analyzers for precise and rapid process control. The OXITEC 5000 oxygen analyzer was developed by ENOTEC and is manufactured entirely in Germany.
Regarding the OXITEC 5000|
ENOTEC products offer a wide range of applications in various incineration plants, as they can be used in flue gas temperatures of up to 1400 °C, with high dust loads and in corrosive or reducing exhaust gases.
The spectrum ranges from coal and gas-fired power plants to waste incineration plants, shipbuilding, refineries and crematoria, cement and steel plants and the chemical industry. In other words, wherever combustion needs to be controlled efficiently, quickly and precisely.
Our promise:
We at ENOTEC will find a solution for every application, whether customised or from series production. Our customers benefit from our experienced staff and our globally active and well-versed sales and service team.
Around the clock and all over the world.
This application overview describes the need to measure the residual oxygen and the sum of combustible gas molecules in the flue gas after the combustion chamber at various installation locations. Controlling the fuel-to-air ratio is a key factor in being able to operate the combustion process under optimum conditions with minimal fuel requirements and emissions.
Accurate measurement also increases plant safety and boosts the efficiency of the plant.
The high quality and versatility of ENOTEC products means that the customer can cover all important measuring points for combustion monitoring and flue gas cleaning control with just one partner:
- O2 at the end of the boiler (after economiser): Combustion control and combustion monitoring: The residual oxygen can be used to make a statement about the quality of combustion. Target approx. 2 vol. % O2. The COe value (the sum of the combustible gas components in the flue gas) serves as a backup for reliable combustion control and combustion monitoring.
- O2 after LuVo (air preheater): The LuVo leakage can be monitored with the O2 value before and after LuVo. O2 monitoring in the combustion air mixed with rezi gas to control low NOx combustion.
- O2 and COe after electrostatic precipitator: Leakage monitoring can also be achieved here with the O2 value before and after dust separation (e.g. electrostatic precipitator).
The COe value is used for explosion protection.
- O2 according to DeNOx: The O2 measured values before and after the cleaning stages can be used to make a statement about the quality of the cleaning. The O2 value is required to standardise the NOx measured value.
- O2 at the stack: The O2 value at the stack is required as an oxygen reference value (e.g. emission measurement in accordance with the 13th BImSchV). ENOTEC also offers complete turnkey emission measurements.
ECO (Economizer): Heat exchanger for recovering residual heat at the end of the boiler. The feed water for the boiler is preheated here before it reaches the heat exchangers in the boiler.
LuVo: Air preheater for the combustion air.
Rezi gas: Flue gas is injected or recirculated into the combustion zone to lower the oxygen and combustion temperature. In this way, thermal NOx can be reduced.
DeNOx: Flue gas denitrification. A reducing solution (ammonia) is sprayed in, which reduces NO and NOx to N2.
Oxygen reference value: An O2 reference value to which all measured emissions are standardized is required for official emission monitoring, e.g. according to BImSchV, e.g. 6 vol.% O2 in dry flue gas when burning coal.
